TMC Celebrates 40 Years of Excellence

This month Tropical Marine Centre, one of the leading players in the aquatic industry, celebrates its 40th anniversary.
There have been huge changes within TMC since it was first set up in 1970 by Richard Sankey. Starting out in small premises in London. the company now has 4 sites (including 1 in Portugal) and underwent an £18m management buyout last year, headed up by MD Paul West.
TMC's original objective of supplying the highest quality marine livestock around the world is still at the heart of the company and this goes hand in hand with its work, in collaboration with many worldwide conservation organizations, on welfare and environmental issues relating to the collection and importation of marine fish. However, TMC also now manufactures and distributes a staggering range of aquatic products, including its award-winning V2 and AquaRay ranges and its new foray into the planted tank market - the AquaGro range.
With many other new products and innovations in the pipeline, the company is looking forward to the next 40 years!
