We currently have an opportunity for a Fish House Assistant working as part of a very busy team in our modern fish holding facility in Manchester.

General duties include assisting with the tank maintenance, feeding, handling livestock and dealing with customers in the Fish-House.

Although usual working hours will be Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week. Due to the nature of working with Livestock and operational requirements, flexibility in hours and some evening and weekend work is required.

Livestock sales are at the core of our business and all Fish-House staff are responsible for the handling and up-keep of this livestock environment.

The successful candidate should have a keen interest in aquatics, be enthusiastic, hard-working and eager to learn all aspects of fish husbandry. Full training is given.

Due to the operational hours required for this role and shift patterns, this position would suit someone who lives local to Sharston and / or within reasonable travelling distance.

Salary according to experience.
