Goldfleck-Kaninchenfisch

Widespread in the eastern part of the western Pacific and replaced in Indonesia by the closely related Siganus guttatus, south and west from Molluccen seas. Occurs on inner reefs, usually found in small groups near reef overhangs. Identified by the golden round saddle mark on the caudal peduncle and the numerous golden lines on the head and body. Length to 35cm.
