Océan Indien occidentalCarberryi Anthias, Nemanthias carberryi . Widespread in the western Indian Ocean, east to the Maldives and south along the African coast with adult populations as far as the Aliwal Shoal. A schooling species on upper reef slopes and near top of rocky reefs in vicinity of caves and crevices. Males usually salmon-pink with numerous tiny yellow spots along scale rows, a yellow streak along base of soft part of dorsal fin and caudal fin with blue lobes. Length to 12cm, excluding filamentous extension on caudal-fin lobes.
