It is a Reef Safe fish and should preferably be kept in an aquarium with a subtract of sand and some rocks where it will find shelter, it is also advisable to have a protection in the aquarium as it tends to jump. The Paradise Goby can maintain a symbiotic relationship with a Alpheus shrimp and must be fed with frozen food like Gamma mysis or brineshrimp.
