Pacifique OuestThis species has a much more elongated snout than other members of the genus. It is found on sheltered inner reefs, usually in caves with sponges and below large plate corals. This pipefish is a very active cleaner and has a cleaning station that is visited mainly by cardinalfishes and damselfishes wheres adults work in pairs. Usually swims upside-down.
