Oceano Indiano occidentaleRestricted to the Red Sea and Arabian Seas. Siblings in the Indo-West Pacific. Occurs on sheltered coastal reefs, often in silty habitats with rocks and urchins. Small juveniles secretive and often near urchins in narrow crevices. Small juveniles almost black with narrow white lines and spots, featuring two ocelli on the dorsal fin, centrally and posteriorly and one small on posteriorly on the anal fin. Males dusky to greenish with yellow-orange and blue-striped head. Length to 15cm.
