Sapphire Dwarf Parrot

Philippines to Floes seas. Coastal and inner reefs with low, but rich coral and algae coverage. Usually occurs in moderately large groups at depths of about 20-25m. Variable in colour from pinkish to bright red or purple, and dorsal fin often bright yellow in adults. Closely related to C.flavidorsalis and juveniles or females are identical. Length to 9cm.
