Bass - Caribbean Blue

Western Atlantic from south Florida and Bahamas to the central CaribbeanSea region. Swims in small groups on open substrates with coral outcrops, usually in depths over 10m. Reported to 100m. Easily identified by the blue sides and dark blotches over the back. Length to 9cm, usually to 7cm. Popular and easily to kept aquarium species that is usually recommended for beginners.
